OBSIDIAN OBLIGATIONS
(Reserved exclusively for Obsidian patrons — the sovereign echelon of the House)
Stewardship
Obsidian is a custodial role, not a status. The patron assumes guardianship over a lineage of foresight, discretion, and legacy. This obligation reflects the House’s expectation that Obsidian patrons operate not merely as recipients of intelligence, but as stewards of its heritage.
Discretion
All intelligence, artifacts, briefings, and strategic accompaniment remain strictly private. Obsidian materials are treated as sovereign documents — circulated only within the patron’s inner circle and preserved with the same discretion afforded to state‑level intelligence.
Continuity
Recognition within the Obsidian Domain is conferred for a single annual term. Renewal is never guaranteed and is extended solely at the discretion of the House, based on alignment, stewardship, and the integrity with which the patron has upheld the obligations of the Domain.
Irrevocability
Once conferred, Obsidian status cannot be revoked, reversed, or refunded. It is a ceremonial appointment — a recognition of influence, legacy, and strategic gravity — not a transactional exchange.
Heritage Alignment
The patron commits to engaging with foresight as a long‑horizon discipline. Obsidian is not tactical advisory; it is the shaping of generational outcomes. Patrons acknowledge that the intelligence they receive is designed to inform legacy, stewardship, and the architecture of future inheritance.
Custodial Preservation
Obsidian patrons agree to preserve their heritage‑grade archival volumes as part of their private estate. These volumes are crafted as enduring artifacts — documents intended to outlast the year of their creation and serve as a record of strategic evolution.
Sovereign Conduct
The patron upholds the ceremonial ethos of the House: discretion, dignity, and the quiet exercise of influence. Obsidian patrons are expected to embody the values of the Domain in their engagement with the House and its intelligence.
